Jessie Monk is a Melbourne-based voice coach, singer and recording artist with more than ten years’ teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre from the Victorian College of the Arts (University of Melbourne) and draws on training in Alexander Technique, brain-based voice work and somatic practices, blending artistic intuition with neuroscientific insight to help voice users find freedom, resonance, ease and authentic expression.

Alongside her teaching, Jessie is an internationally touring artist whose work spans folk, experimental and theatrical performance. She has performed in the Australian tour of Lazarus (The Production Company) and Hadestown (Opera Australia). In 2023 she released her debut album, Continually Becoming, described as “Boundless Folk” by Rolling Stone, and her sophomore album Mis O’ The Mountains was nominated for AFMA’s Contemporary Folk Album of the Year in 2025. She has been programmed in opera houses, jazz and experimental venues, concert halls and festivals across Europe and Australia, and has supported artists including Rachel Sermanni, Ocie Elliot and Matthew and the Atlas.

Jessie teaches singers, actors, dancers, public speakers and space holders globally and also teaches within tertiary performing arts programs around Melbourne. Her specialist voice and dialect training has included work with Leif Mcpherson, Andrew Byrne, Dr Heather Fletcher, Sunny Kim, Rosie Harris MA and Dr Peter Rutherford.

Aidan Ryan is a Melbourne-based guitarist, songwriter, composer, producer and teacher specialising in jazz, improvisation and foundational guitar practice. He studied Interactive Composition and Jazz and Improvisation at the Victorian College of the Arts and holds a Diploma in Sound Engineering.

As a self-producing artist under the name NoLess, Aidan creates genre-blending work spanning indie, soul, folk and jazz influences. NoLess is his current artistic focus, with Aidan writing and singing the material as well as shaping its production.

Aidan has also worked extensively as a session musician and guitarist with projects and artists including Dave Arden, Nduduzo Makathani, Rat Child, Soulutations, Kudakwashe, Joshua Tavares, Robbie Belchamber, Gabriel LCR, Selenic and Jessie Monk.

His teaching integrates holistic guitar technique, improvisation, music theory and production, drawing on somatic movement approaches including Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais. He teaches a wide range of styles, from jazz and classical through soul, R&B, rock and folk to more experimental genres, effects and sound exploration. He also teaches Ableton Live, songwriting and music production.
