A holistic approach to spoken voice

Holistic and transformative one-to-one spoken voice sessions for actors, public speakers, space holders and anyone seeking a deeper, more embodied relationship with their speaking voice. Sessions are tailored to the individual and can support confidence, reduce fatigue, improve pitch range and impact, address anxiety and develop expressive flexibility.

What we might explore

  • Fundamental vocal anatomy: understanding the voice, its structures and its relationship to the body.
  • Developing resonance: using Alexander Technique and brain-based approaches to explore tone, volume and resonance through the body.
  • Articulation: developing efficient clarity and intelligibility.
  • Anxiety and stage fright: tools that support regulation during demanding speaking situations.
  • Your vocal “attractor state”: recognising habitual patterns influenced by dialect, health, gender and individual voice use.

Who might you be?

  • An actor, professional or recreational, wanting spoken-voice support
  • A public speaker or professional voice user such as a lawyer, teacher, politician or keynote speaker
  • A facilitator or workshop leader who regularly holds space with their voice
  • Someone finding speaking painful, tiring or challenging
  • A voice actor preparing for studio work or recording
